I just upgraded to SP2 for Office 2004 for Exchange server and I'm
noticing
a couple things have happened in Entourage now that I've updated.
First I now have two calendars, where before I think I just had one. I
now
have Calendar (On my computer) and Calendar (my account name) While
both
these Calendars appear to have the same content on them, if I add a new
item to one of them it doesn't appear on the other. Is there a way to
get
these two to synch up?
The second issue is that now I appear to have two address books - the
same
as for Calendars - one On My Computer and one for my exchange
account. Now
when I go to enter an address in the To box when sending an email all
the
email addresses appear twice which is annoying.
I know that the inbox On My computer is for locally stored email
messages,
but the only thing that typically goes in there are messages from an
outside
mail account that is POP3 and any messages that can't be sent because
I am
disconnected from the exchange server when I try to send them. But
where did
these Calendar and address books come from and can I get rid of them?
Is it safe to delete all the entries in the On My Computer copies? I
want all my contacts and calendar reminders to go into the exchange
account versions so that I can view them when I am out of the office.
Is there anything I can do about this?
