Double click select

Does anyone know how to make the double click select method work for
selecting words like "my.word.selection" or "this_word"?

It seems like I can only select the part on either side of the
punctuation.

Hi John,

The "double-click" method to select entire word works for one word. A
"word" is a string of characters with a space or some type of
punctuation on either side of the character string. IOW, what you want
to select using a double-click in your example is viewed as two
words - not one. The only method you can use is the drag (or
equivalent) selection method .
