Are there any commands that you can throw at Word to make it print on
both sides of the page, assuming of course that you already have a
printer with that capability.

There is nothing you do in Word except for any special format arrangements
such as Different Odd/Even Pages or Inside Gutters. To print double-sided,
it is just a matter of selecting the option in the Print dialog when you go
to print.
