doubling of appointments in netfolder calender

I am using net folder in my office with outlook 2000, one
PC uses WIN XP, other 2 uses WIN 98. The problem is every
appointment added by any body continues to duplicated on
each PC for ever, one time appointment was duplicated 80
times, I don't know why. we stopped using calender for
now. any help plz.
