Doubling up of lines/arrows drawn on MS Word

Everytime i try to delete or move an arrow or line there is another one
underneath it which i cant move/delete or even highlight. I think i may have
copied my work from paint first onto a word document first and then carried
on, dont know if this is the reason. Please help.

Is the Style of your line set to 3 points or greater? To check, right-click
on the object, format autoshape, and in the Style drop-down, I think you'll
see a style of 3 points. Change it to one, click OK. Then, right-click on
the object again and Set AutoShape defaults.
