Doubts about PST - Suggestions

Hi guys,

Im my company we still use Lotus Notes, but since last year, Exchange become
the e-mail client for company. I have a serious problem.

Some of Mail In in Notes have a lot messages. 1 GB, 2 GB, 3 GB and also a
Mail In with 9 GB! Well, clean a old envirorment (inherit from the old
"administrator").

The limit that as grant to mailboxes as 200 MB. I can negotiate to increase
this limit until 1 GB, but with co$t.

The idea that I have as create PST file from this mailbox and put in a share
folder in network. But the problem is that the Mail in is access from more
than user at same time. In Exchange the account will be create as a shared
mailbox, but I can't share a PST file (information that I get in some foruns
and KB).

Anyone have a Idea or suggestion about what I can do for this case?

That is correct regarding sharing Personal Folders. They can be on the network, though not recommended/supported by Microsoft, but two people can not access that file at the same time. There may be some 3rd party software such as ShareO that may do this for you but I have not used this product.

A couple of questions do multiple people need to access all of this data? You may want to considered archiving it on the server or other media to restore it only if necessary. Keep only the current data and put it on a shared mailbox with personal folders for recent saved items for reference.
