I installed the Office 2007 pro without any problems. One of the options was
to remove previous versions, which I selected and it it did it with one
exception...

Could not remove Office 2000 pro disc 2...So after bypassing that 2007
installed and works well.

I went to add/remove programs and there is an office 2000 pro disc 2 which I
tried to uninstall but not for the life of me can I get it to work. It keeps
asking for dsic 2 with data2.msi which I insert in the drive but still no
joy. I think a long time ago I used this disc to install publisher because
my other office suite did not have it.

I have searched the web and ms knowledge base and cannot find a way to
remove it. I read where some reinstalled the entire package but then ran
into problems with OE and outlook etc and I dont want that. Tried the fix
and repair and change and all lead back to that disc2 which for some reason
the unistaller does not like

I have no use for it since 2007 has everything I need.

Any ideas or tips appreciated.
