Down loading new files

I've downloaded my web site a while back and it took me almost 12 hours to
down load because I had to send it in pieces. If I tried to do the whole
thing it would kick me off. Why did it take so long to load? Also I want to
change a few things in it, how do I know which files I chose to change? My

Let the folks know which version of Publisher you use.

Did you upload the .pub file? This could be the reason for the long
download (and upload time).

Do you use DSL, Cable or dialup?

Others here will give much more help than I for I'm a Publisher 2000 user.

I presume that when you say that you "downloaded" your site, you actually
meant that you uploaded the site, correct?

Are you using HTTP or FTP uploading protocols?

Which version of Publisher are you using?

Are you using XP or Vista, IE6 or IE7?

The answers to these questions will help me in responding to your questions.
