downgrading access 2003 to access 2000

I have a manager who has office 2003 on his laptop, but we have some access
applications that need to run in access 2000. He wants to still use office
2003, but for access, use access 2000. Will I need his office 2003 disc to
uninstall access. Also, when I put in the office 2000 disc to install access
2000, I would go to control panel/add-remove, select office 2000 and then
change, then add/remove features-but the next screen is a bit confusing. To
install only access 2000, would I click all of the other applications except
access and then choose not available, then click update now?

Office 2000 and Office 2003 have incompatible product registration routines.
Installing a portion of Office 2000 into an existing Office 2003
installation causes multiple registration errors that (at least in my case)
eventually result in an un-bootable computer.

So:
1. Use the Add/Remove Programs wizard to uninstall Office 2003 from
the laptop. Make sure that you uninstall ALL off Office 2003, not just
part(s) of it.
2. After you have uninstalled ALL of Office 2003, perform a Custom
install of Office 2000, opting to install only Access 2000.
3. After you have installed Access 2000, perform a Custom install of
Office 2003, opting to install everything EXCEPT Access 2003.
