downgrading office 2007 to 2003

Can't really find an answer to my question from searching old posts.
I want to downgrade from office 2007 standard to my old version of office
2003.

I just want to confirm that if I export all my mail to a .pst file, 2003 can
import it properly.

Can office 2003 import a .pst made by office 2007? Are there any other
issues I should be aware of?

Thanks

You don't need to. Outlook 2003 uses the same pst file format as Outlook
2007

No, other than do NOT import. there won't be any need anyway. Outlook 2003
will pick up the pst file that was used by Outlook 2007 automatically.
Just make a copy to be on the safe side...

So the uninstall will leave the .pst file behind? Or should I install 2003
first then uninstall 2007?
I will make a copy anyways like you suggest.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes it will

You can't do a "downgrade" - you will have to uninstall 2007 first, do a
re-boot and then install 2003
