Oops... sorry, Afrikaans is not a language that is supported by
the Office 2003 Proofing Tools CD.

Hi Tman,

As mentioned, Microsoft does not currently have an Afrikaans proofing tool for Office, although it does support that language and
locale as does Windows (LCID 1078).

There are some 3rd party products that you may want to try.
Abby Fine Reader supports it through OCR, but it's a bit pricey :)

I haven't tried the one here, for example.
