I setup Outlook 2002 (Office XP) to "download headers
only".
I have the latest update to SP3 which supposedly fixes the
known bug with "download headers only"; instead my Outlook
still crashes almost every time.
I would be grateful for any help.
Outlook confuses the header with a full message.
Sometimes, when I download the header, and I right-click
it in order to download the full message (or delete it
from the server), Outlook gives me as
options "reply" "forward", instead of "download message
body"...
In that case, I need to shut down and restart Outlook.
Most of the times, it crashes after downloading the body
of the message if the preview pane is active. If it does
not crash immediately, it usually crashes when I push the
arrow button to see the next message in the preview pane
or when I press reply. Sometimes the crash is so bad, that
Outlook immediately crashes a second time when I launch it
again.
Sometimes, ofter downloading the message body, Outlook
still warns me "this operation cannot be performed on
headers". In this case, shutting Outlook down and
restarting it solves the problem.
I use
Outlook 2002 (Office XP) with SP3 (latest patch)
and Windows XP Professional (latest patch)
I don't use any spam rule or adult-content rule
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
