download only headers for items larger than ...

Hi all,

Outlook 2003 is configured in cached mode.

I'm a bit confused about this setting "download only
headers for items larger than" that can be enabled in the
send/receive group.

The setting does not seem to work on fast connections but
on slow connections (<128k), it will automatically only
download the message headers anyways...

So what is the "download only headers for items larger
than" for than? I don't get it...

Thanks, I would really like that this setting would
actually work...!
