Downloaded SP1 files from Updates

Question: Where are the files downloaded to my hard drive
used for the Office Update (http://office.microsoft.com/en-
us/officeupdate/default.aspx), specifically those
associated with SP1. I want to find and delete them. These
are downloaded without asking me where to put them,
because its part of the Web version update, not a file I
download/save and run.

I used the Office Update "Check for Updates" to check for
updates to Office 2003. Unfortunately there was a problem
installing it. I ended up solving the problem by
downloading the file (Office2003SP1-kb842532-fullfile-
enu.exe) and installing it successfully from a hard drive.
The file was found at:

Office2003SP1-kb842532-fullfile-enu.exe: Download this
file if you do not have access to your original product CD-
ROM or if you have experienced problems installing the
Office2003SP1-kb842532-client-enu.exe file.

I know that the original files were downloaded to my hard
drive during the Office Update because when I tried to re-
install the update using the office Update (before using
Office2003SP1-kb842532-fullfile-enu.exe) it told me the
files were already downloaded. In addition, the size of my
hard drive space dropped by 100MB about. I'd like to
delete them now as I downloaded the fullfile update and
want the space back (its an olde computer with only 2GB
and I only have 700 MB free)

Thanks.

That's because you posed the Q in an ambiguous way,
First you state Office web update, then the Office download, you detail the
download exe, but then state you used web update.
No wonder were confused.
You either used the web update, or downloaded the file, If you downloaded it
you would have been asked were to save it. In any case you have the file
name, therefore you can search for it.
