Hi, Every-time i download an .xls or .ppt file from a website. The file ends up having a .xlm, or .pps added to the filename. So document.xls becomes document.xls.xlm and It's just really odd. I can't find anything that might make this an option so any help is great.

It's a problem with the way Safari handles deprecated file types.

Make sure both Safari and Office are updated to the latest update
version - I haven't seen the problem in a while.
