downloading graphics in cil format

Beth

I'm downloading graphics from the MS website to use in
Word. They come in a .cil format. How do I then use them
& in what folder should they be placed? I've been
successful in using them sometimes, but they don't always
seem to work the same way. Does it make a difference if I
download 1 file at a time or in a group?

Hi Beth,

MS .CIL packages (Clipart Information Library) are
only usable by the MS Office 2000 and earlier ClipArt
Gallery. It's the equivalent of a .ZIP file for graphics.
Double clicking it or right click/open with and choose
the MS Clip Gallery should incorporate the keywords
into your gallery and place the actual clipart on your
hard drive.
