Please can Microsoft, in their infinite wsdom, make large downloads available
in either segments or capable of resumption.
I live in an area of the UK which has no broadband availability, poor
tlelphone lines (35k connection) and my ISP, although an "anytime" package,
disconnects after about 2 hours online. Such items as "Office, Service Pack
2" need about 4 hours of downloading time!
There are pleanty of utility downloads available where the download can be
resumed at a later time, but not aparently Microsoft!!
PLEASE change this and make this useful option available to those of us who
do not yet have the benefits of fast connections!!
