Downloading latest updates for Office 2007

There are 5 new updates for office 2007 that will not update for me. I keep
getting error code 646. I don't have office open so that can't be the cause
but I cannot find any other reason it won't update. Can anyone help?

For anyone who reads this, I finally downloaded the updates manually from the
office download site. You save each one on your desktop and then run the
update. Each one downloads and then rerun microsoft update to get rid of the
update icon.
