Downloading Microsoft PowerPoint Reader

Mitch

Hi all -
I want to read a power point presentation sent to me via
e-mail. I loaded the free viewer from Microsoft, but I
think it's either opened or saved to the wrong file
folder.

When I click on the presentation, it still can't open.
SO, should I save or open the viewer and to where so it
will open automatically when I download a power point
presentation - just like when I get an adobe document.

Thanks,
Mitch

Downloading the viewer is not enough. You need to install it also. then when you dblclk on the presentation, it will open.

Locate the file you downloaded. Double click it to install it. Allow it to
install to the location it chooses (C:\Program Files\PowerPoint Viewer 97).
Once that is completed the presentation should open in the Viewer when you
double click on it.
