Downloading OneNote SP1

I have a full legal version of OneNote. Want to apply SP1. At the MS Office
download site ... Does one download the SP1 file to install later? Or is the
process an install as SP1 is downloaded? Thanks for any help. If the
former, I can download at night. Can't do that if I have to be attentive for
the request of the original disk. Thanks for the help here.

You should be able to download the entire SP1 update
file. That update does not download a helper app which
then downloads additional components as needed (You're
thinking of something like the IE installation utility?)

Download the ~20MB Fullfile update from this URL:

(link will most likely wrap - you may need to copy to the
clipboard and then reassemble as a single line in Notepad)

I believe it processes as an install as it's downloaded - through Office
Update - the way that Windows Update does. I would be surprised if there's
no way for administrators to download the SP for install later, however.

OneNote SP1 can be downloaded and saved locally from here:

If you go through the "check for updates" from the OneNote home page, it'll
do the upgrade scenario.
