Downloading Template without ActiveX addon.

T

Tom

This is going to be an icredibly dumb question, however, because I do have
have access to install active X controls on my computer here at work I am
having difficulty downloading templates that now require authorization.
When it tells me the Active X could not be installed it provides alternate
instructions for downloading the template.

"You can download this template from within the Microsoft Office program it
was designed for. To do this:

Start the the Microsoft Office 2007 program that is required to open the
template.
Click the Office Button, and then click New. "

Where in powerpoint is the 'Office Button'? I'd like to be able to use some
of the templates available but either i'm suffering from selective sight or
my Office Button fell off.

Thanks to whomever points out this seemingly obvious information.

The Office Button is new to 2007 versions of Office. What version do
you have? If you don't have Office 2007, then you need to choose
templates designed for Office 2003 or earlier.
