downloading with lost disks

I have Office 97 or 2000 and do not know how to tell which
it is. It was copyright 1996. The disks are lost. How
do I download the service packs?

Office 97 is Copyrighted 1996. If you do not have the disks for updating,
then I would suggest scouring your local computer shops for a copy.
Microsoft no longer has a supply of replacement disks.
