Prerequisites:
1. A mounted volume with no free space left (e.g. a full floppy drive).
2. A large picture.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Tell Windows Explorer to print the picture using Microsoft Office Image
Writer driver.
2. Tell the driver to print the image to a location on the filled volume.

Actual results:
Nothing happens.

Expected results:
A failure notification.

Workaround:
Locate the printed image on the volume after printing.
If it is not there, printing has failed.

Well, what do you expect when you try to write to a full volume?

How is this a suggestion for Microsoft and not a user education issue? What do you expect them to do?

Well, thanks for answering; it would make more sense though if you bothered
to read the OP.

Don't write directly to floppy disks. That is the first rule of working
with ANY Office applications.

The problem is not restricted to floppy disks, although it is easier to
reproduce.
Why don’t you mention rule 0: don’t use ANY office applications AT ALL?

Actually I mis-spoke, the rule is to not work directly off removable
media. As to your reference to a "rule 0" well it wasn't mentioned
because it doesn't exist.
