Dr.Watson Application Error

In our Organization excell2000 is installed on windowsNT4 work stationa nd
its giving DR.watson error in following manner

An Application error has occured and an application log is being created.

Exception :Acees violation (0*00000005) \
Adress: 0*300226d69

I cant upgrade to wimdows2000 due to hardware availability.

Any suggestions please
