Dr. Watson Errors

Hello,

I apologize if this has been answered before... I tried a
search but didn't find anything....

In various Office apps, sometimes people will get a "Dr.
Watson" error , i.e. "The referenced memory at...(some
memory location)...could not be accessed..." and then the
app crashes.

Any ideas how to fix this kind of thing if rebooting
doesn't help?

There are a number of things that can cause a crash. If you capture and
record the number that is provided in the error message (e.g. The memory at
address 0x083876531 could not be read"), and then search the Microsoft
Knowledge base for the specific error value and application you may find a
specific answer that address the issue.

At the same time, make sure that your Office applications are up to date
with the latest service releases which often fix a number of these types of
issues, stop by: http://office.microsoft.com/officeupdate/default.aspx
