Dr. Watson ordinal44 error

I have written VBA code with Excel using Office XP. When I take th
code back to Office97, I get a Dr. Watson error when the progra
creates the 1,216 line of output. Doesn't matter what the input is
it bombs at line 1216 of output. I get a Dr. Watson error referring t
the function ORDINAL44. Can someone help with this? The code work
fine in Office XP
