Drafts are being stored in the Inbox

Quick question, folks. In Outlook 2003, my drafts are being stored in the
Inbox instead of the Drafts folder.

I've checked the "Save unsent items in" option under Tools>Options>E-mail
Options>Advanced E-mail Options, and it is set to "Drafts".

Any ideas would be helpful.

Hi,

Since you've already verified that Outlook is configured to save messages in the "Drafts" folder, the next thing you should do is to create a new Outlook profile and then start Outlook in
safe mode.

1 - Verify the current configuration:

· On the Tools menu, click Options.
· Click E-mail Options, and then click Advanced E-mail Options.
· Under Save messages, in the Save unsent items in list, click "Drafts"

2 - Create a new Outlook profile for the affected client.

Instructions can be found in the following KB article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;823475

3 - Starting Outlook in Safe Mode

Hold the "Ctrl" key and start Outlook. You will be prompted to enter safe mode. Perform a test to see if the issue reoccurs.
