Drag and drop creating copy:[calendar title]

Luke Chalmers

Hello,

A user using Outlook 2007 and Exchange 2003 has queried an issue which I was
wondering if someone who can confirm is expected behaviour. She is dragging
and dropping a calendar item from a users calendar (Calendar 1) and dragging
it into another shared calendar (Calendar 2).

In Calendar 2, it now states 'copy:[calendar item]' and she said it never
said the copy: but before. I have done the same thing on my calendar and I
don't get the copy: bit but I am using Outlook 2003 on Exchange 2003.

Can you tell me how you get rid of the 'copy:' part of the calendar item
when dragging items across?

Many thanks,

Luke

You can't get rid of it. It's a new feature added by outlook 2007 sp2 when
you copy from one shared calendar to another.

Diane,

I assume then when she says it didn't happen before it was because she was
on SP1.

Many thanks,

Luke
