drag and drop function has disappeared

Since installing office 2003 I have lost the ability to
drag and drop in any of the applications. Any suggestions?

Right-click in an empty area of the Start
Menu>Properties>Customise>Advanced>"enable dragging and dropping".

Thanks for quick response. This morning the dragging and dropping function has mysteriously returned even before I did as you suggested but I looked anyway and sure enough enable dragging and dropping was already checked. Can this come and go of its own accord or was it likely to be a problem at boot up?
