Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I noticed a lot of unanswered/partially answered questions about the drag and drop method of importing pictures into Powerpoint 2008 directly from Safari, without having to save it to your computer or desktop. I had the same problem, but after comparing specs with my friends (both Mac users) version, I realized that it was just simply the version.
If you cannot drag and drop pictures from Safari and you are running Powerpoint 2008 (especially on a Mac) click on Powerpoint > About Powerpoint. I'm willing to bet you don't have version 12.2.3. If not, click on Help > Check for Update and go from there.
This one's for all of those people who got posted a similar question, and someone replied "save it to your computer and then click Insert > Picture" or "drag it to the desktop and then to Powerpoint"
