Drag and Drop to Add Contacts - No Longer Works

As stated in the subject line...this functionality seems to have been lost.

When I drag and drop an attached contact from an e-mail, sent from work to
home, into my contact folder....it opens a blank contact with my name in
it....not the info from the attached contact that I forwarded from work.

Any idea how I can restore thus functionality? It used to work!!
