Drag and Drop URL in body of email issue

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

Entourage 12.1.5

When I drag and drop a url into the body of an email, it gets loaded as an attachment with a warning: attachments potentially unsafe. I use to drag and drop url's without an issue in earlier versions--as I recall.

How can I override this protection?

Thanks.

This is a Safari issue. Try another browser and see what happens. You can
manually copy them to the body of the message or use the easy way....

³Insert URLs into a message²

You should start with #1 in the AppleScript series to learn how AppleScripts
work and how to assign shortcuts.

If you want to easily make long ones into a tiny url, see this article.

Yes. I tried Firefox and that worked.

Thanks again for your prompt and thorough response.
