Dragging A Shape to creat Hierarchy

I have Visio 2003 Professional. Today I opened the program to create a US Org
Chart and can not create a hierarchy by beginning with the Executive and
dragging shapes over to creat the chart I want.

Does anyone have any ideas about this or how to fix it. Up to this point, I
have never had this happen.

The first thing I'd check is Tools>Options>Security (Tools>Options>Advanced
in Visio 2007), then make sure that "Enable Automation Events" is checked.
