I'm just trying to figure out what could be causing this. I've had this
problem on two different computers, each using a different version of Word.
Both XP machines, one Word 2007, the other Word 2003. SP3 with full updates
on both.
When I highlight text and drag it to another place in a document, I am left
with what appears to be the original text in the original spot (I think
"artifacts" is the correct term for this type of graphics issue, please
correct me if it is not). I think it is some kind of refresh issue because
if you scroll the original text spot off the screen and then scroll back it
is no longer there. Has anyone else experienced this with Word?
There are no issues with the text that was dragged to the new location. I'm
trying to zero in on what is causing this problem. The machine running the
2007 version has a newer graphics card (NVIDIA 8600GTS, updated drivers,
etc,.), but the other machine is an old work dell (onboard graphics).
Any thoughts?
