Dragging graph-points to change data? (!)

R

rememberkindness

?:

Who knows:

a) how soon either Excel or PowerPoint might allow changes to data by
directly re-forming the data's graph(chart)
(e.g. by mouse-dragging edges, bar-ends, or other such elements),

or

b) whether there is an add-on (or auxiliary app) already available (or that
someone is working on) to enable such data-altering in those two main apps,

or

c) someone who might like to help make &/or sell such an add-on for one or
more such popular apps

?

Thanks!

& do pls. fwd this to all you think might be able to help us out...

1) But in Excel you already can do this. Make an XY chart and drag a point
up or down
2) In A1:A4 enter 1,2,3,4 in B1 enter =2*A1 and copy down to B4; make XY or
Line chart and grade a point up or down - Goal Seek pops up

That functionallity already exist. Select an individual point on a data
series and drag it up or down to change the source data. Make sure when you
select that you are grabbing an individual point and not the entire series...
