Dragging in Word X for Mac

When I import a picture to a Word document I am not able to drag it
around (within the document). As soon as I leave the mouse, the
moving "shadow" goes back to the initial position!
But I was able to drag in Word 98!

What is wrong?

Right-click the image, format picture, layout tab, choose any wrap but "in line with
text".
