Dragon Dictate 9 works erratically in Word 2007 (XP). Solution?

dI have just loaded Word 2007, which works very erratically with Dragon
Dictate 9 preferred. I am using XP Professional. It works very well with Word
2003. Any thoughts as to how to make it work properly/much less erratically?

Sorry - what you have is an add-in that claims compatibility with Word, not
the other way around. My guess is that there will have to be some sort of
patch or upgrade obtained from the developers of that program. I'd check
their site.
