Dragon Naturally speaking locks up, freezes in Microft office

I am using Vista Home Premium, having lots of RAM, but when I dictate using
this program it hangs and then eventually the words appear, but sometimes I
get a message that the program is not responding.

Since Dragon isn't really a part of Word but rather an add-in, you might be
better advised seeking assistance from a Dragon-specific resource.
