draw arc of any radius

I'm not sure whether you can do this in Word 2000 or not, but in Word 2003,
here's how:

1. Display the Drawing toolbar.

2. On the toolbar, chose AutoShapes, then Basic Shapes, then Arc.

3. Draw the arc; press Shift if you want a circular arc.

4. The arc will initially be a quarter of a circle (or ellipse), but you can
drag the yellow diamonds on the ends to change the degree of arc.

4. You can change the radius by changing the size of the bounding box. This
will be most easily done while the arc is still a quarter of a circle. You
can press Shift while dragging one of the corners that's not the end of the
arc, or more accurately on the Size tab of the Format AutoShape dialog.
