Drawing a line across a page

I used a quick way to draw a line across a page in Word 2007 using 3 consecutive hyphens and pressing enter. It worked twice now I can't get it to work. Has anyone a solution for this. Thanks

Go to Office button > Word Options > Proofiing and click the
AutoCorrect Options button, click the AutoFormat As You Type tab of
the dialog, and check the "Border lines" option.

To get rid of the line if you put one in by mistake, see
