Drawing A Line (error)

I don't know if there is a glitch in my software or if I changed a setting
and don't know it but, when I try to draw a line, arc, or anything now it is
not working.

I click on my start point and drag and click and nothing appears. Before
there was a line showing while I was dragging.

Any ideas??

Is there anything selected after you release the mouse button? Could it be
that your default line format is "no line"?
