I am not sure if I am posting to the right group, but I would
appreciate an answer, or a pointer to where I can post this question.
I have a large drawing canvas, with many text boxes on it. I need to
zoom in on part of the drawing canvas to work on the text boxes in the
part on which I have zoomed in. The problem is that when I select a
text box in the zoomed-in region, the view moves to the center of the
drawing canvas (horzontal pan) and I have to bring the box that I had
selected back into view, an operation that gets to be EXTREMELY
annoying extremely quickly.
The obvious question is HOW DO I PREVENT THE VIEW TO BE MOVED?!
To my understanding this is happening because when I select a text-box,
it is assumed that the drawing canvas containing that text-box is now
the "object of interest" and the view is centered on it..
Thanks.
