Is there a function to break apart a shape/line in Visio? There are
operations for shapes such as Union, Combine, Fragment, Intersect,
Subtract, Join, Trim and Offset.
Is there a 3-D extrude function available in Visio like Corel or
Illustrator? Out of the box of Visio 2007 does not have the capability to
perform 3-D modeling.
Why don't you try working with the trial version to see if it will fit your
needs?

On your first question : Menu , Tools , Add ons, Visio Extras, Array Shapes;
Hard to find, indeed.
For your other, typographically hard to read questions, at first glance =
