Drawing circles from the center

This might seem a simple thing, but to me it's not. I can't figure out
how to draw a circle starting from the center of the the circle, as
you would with a compass. I want to make geometric patterns and have
the circles start at certain apex points. Any help?

Once you click on the circle tool, hold both the Ctrl and Shift key down at
the same time. This will create the circle out from the place your cursor
is located when you left click and drag the size of the circle.
