Drawing in Pixels

Since Visio is a vector program, there is no way to do this precisely.
However, since most monitors display 96 dots per inch, you can approximate a
pixel using 0.01 in.

Hi Mark...

Thanks for the reply...

After a bit of research I did the conversion to construct my drawing that is
a close to
the value in pixels.

My question new question is "how" do I setup the grid to reflect a image
that is
27.1 x 20.3 cm (1024 x 768)?

Thanks,

saXso

If you use the Fixed Grid setting, you can specify precise increments. You
could choose something like 0.1 inches (10 pixels) or 0.2 inches (20
pixels).

Hi Mark,
As you may know, there are thousands of people that use Visio daily for
Software design & Web work who require translation of their designs into
PIXELS.
Will Microsoft be adding the ability to draw and measure using Pixels? Your
solution, although works, nevertheless is a workaround.
Additionally, you imply that this is difficult to do, yet Adobe's
vector-based products have been doing this for quite a while now.

Thanks.
