Drawing in Powerpoint

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I need to use the scribble tool repeatedly and don't want to keep going to the shapes menu.

Sorry, in '04 you could double-click a tool & be able to continue using it
for as long as you wished, but that seems to have been taken away in '08:-(

What may help a bit is to use the Drawing Toolbar - the tool groups are in
tear-off palettes indicated by the perforated bar at the top edge. Grab that
& drag the palette to a convenient location - at least you can keep it
closer at hand & be able to use the Formatting Palette/Toolbox for other
purposes.

Same thing in PPT 2007/Win, but if you rightclick the chosen drawing tool, there's
a "Lock drawing mode" (how's that for intuitive?) choice that does the same thing
as the old doubleclicktrick.

Maybe there's something similar in 2008?
