Drawing Lines

I would like to draw a short 2" line under the header in a Word document.
When I click on the line button in the Draw toolbar, I get a large frame that
allows me to draw a picture. I do not want a picture, I just want a line.
How do I do this?

The "frame" is the Drawing Canvas. You can turn it off by clicking on Tools
| Options | General | uncheck the "Automatically create drawing canvas" box |
