Drawing not in place

Hi,

I'm using word 2003 and currently I'm trying to create some user guide with
drawing inside. However, everytime when I clicked on the LINE icon, a box
"Create your drawing here" appeared. I deleted the box as usually the area
the box appeared was not the place where I want for my drawing.

When I drew the line at the place I wanted, it shifted to elsewhere. And
I'm not able to move to the place where I wanted my drawing to be.

Could anyone know what's wrong with it and how to deactivate the box, so
that it will not appear again in future.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General tab | uncheck the
"Automatically create drawing canvas" box | OK.
