Drawing Object print option keeps getting disabled

I have a user that complains that the print option in Word 2000 that
controlls whether or not to print drawing object periodically gets unchecked
without her intervention. She can not reproducce the problem on demand but
it keeps gettign changed periodically. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this
or what may be the cause?

The conventional wisdom is that when Word fails to retain Options settings,
you should nuke the Registry Data key (see
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm). This may work
in some cases, but I have certain settings that Word refuses to retain even
after I've done that. Moreover, "Update fields" on the Print tab has started
unchecking itself occasionally; inasmuch as this problem has developed just
since I installed Adobe Acrobat, I suspect it is the culprit.

Ah, we do have something in common. Adobe Acrobat.... Hmmm...... And I think
that user likes to use the toolbar icon.
