Drawing objects locked

Using Word 2003 on an XP platform I'm trying to use drawing features to
create an organizational chart. For some reason, the drawing objects can
only be resized by 1/2 inch increments. This is document specific because
when I copy and paste the data into a blank document the drawing objects
behave normally.

Thoughts?

Hi Richard,

From the Drawing toolbar choose
Draw=>Grid
and see if turning off the settings there helps.
